The purpose of this contract is to describe to the buyer what safeguards and guarantees they can expect from the breeder, and protect the interests of both breeder and buyer and most importantly the dog.

The buyer wishes to purchase the above-mentioned dog for the following sum of £...............

All puppies will be born into a healthy, warm environment. Tails will be docked within 3 days of birth. All puppies will be weaned and eating solid puppy food by five weeks of age. If a vaccination and de-worming program has been developed by a certified veterinarian it must be continued and documented by the buyer. Puppies will not be sold with any health problems known by the breeder as every care has been taken with breeding, rearing and the welfare of the dog.  The breeder makes no warranty however as to the health or disposition of the dog. Every effort has been made to avoid any possible inherited conditions

Our puppies have been legally docked and will come with the relevant DEFRA paperwork which will be filled in by our vet.  By law docked puppies must be microchipped.  This is the responsibility of the new owner.  The buyer must agree to get the puppy microchipped by their vet at the time of the 2nd vaccination.

 A certified veterinarian MUST examine puppies within 3 days of purchase for guarantees to apply. After 3 days i can not be held responsible, nor if you decide NOT to take your puppy to the vet.   Any problems at the time must immediately be reported to breeder and the puppy to be returned with a written report from the purchasers vet for a second opinion by the breeders vet

If dog is found to be in unsatisfactory health after a second opinion then the breeder shall:

A.) Replace the dog with the next available like prospect or mutually agreeable animal provided the living dog and registration papers are returned. Should it become necessary, the purchaser should be aware that the return of a dog can be very difficult, especially emotionally and having drawn the attention of the Purchaser to the the breeder can not be held responsible for and distress caused by the return of the dog.

B) If i have not been notified within 3 days of the puppy leaving that there are health problems, i can not be held responsible for any accident or illness that is not an inherited illness

2. Your dog is purebred. Pedigree is correct and given at time of sale. Dog is registered with KC, form is given at time of sale unless withheld for reasons listed._______________ .

3. Buyer agrees to: Annual veterinary check-ups, To keep all immunizations current,  to provide good housing, secure garden and not kept on a chain. The animal shall not be allowed to roam freely. Should these conditions not be met by the seller, I the breeder will require return of the puppy/dog.  If it is found that the buyer mistreats the puppy/dog in anyway the breeder will collect the puppy/dog without prior notice or consent.

4. If in the future the buyer finds himself/herself unable to keep the dog, he/she MUST contact the breeder, and to return the dog back to the breeder to find a suitable home.    

5. The breeder is willing to give advice to the buyer in any matter concerning the well being of the dog. For the life of the dog.

6.  All puppies carry breeding restrictions and the named dog above must not be bred until all criteria have been met. There are no exceptions so please do not ask             

A. He/She is at least 2 years old

B. Is hip scored and is under the national average.

C. To have a current clear eye and heart certificate.

D. The proposed mate is also eye, heart and hip tested.

E. The dog/bitch must be within the breed standard, and have no potential genetic/conformational faults that can be passed on to their offspring

F. It will also be at my discretion and i may refuse to have them lifted, but will give an explanation at the time of request
