The purpose of this contract is to describe to the buyer what safeguards and guarantees they can expect from the breeder, and protect the interests of both breeder and buyer and most importantly the dog.

All puppies have been born into a healthy, warm environment. Tails will be docked within 3 days of birth. All puppies will be weaned and eating solid puppy food by five weeks of age. If a vaccination and de-worming program has been developed by a certified veterinarian it is highly recommended that it is to be continued and documented by the buyer to ensure the good health of the puppy . Puppies will not be sold with any health problems known by the breeder as every care has been taken with breeding, rearing and the welfare of the dog.  Every effort has been made to avoid any possible inherited conditions

Our puppies have been legally docked and will come with the relevant DEFRA paperwork which will be filled in by our vet.  By law docked puppies must be microchipped.  If your puppy is not already microchipped then it is the responsibility of the new owner to have this done and must agree to get the puppy microchipped by their vet at the time of the 2nd vaccination.

It is strongly recommended that a certified veterinarian examines your puppy within 3 days of purchase. Even though our vet has carried out a full and comprehensive vet check at 8 weeks, we would like you and your vet to be 100% happy with his/her health.  If there is a problem we would ask that the puppy is returned to us without delay and we would like either to speak to your vet or a letter from your vet stating the problem so we can take the puppy to our vet for a second opinion

Your dog is purebred. Pedigree is correct and given at time of sale. Dog is registered with KC, form is given at time of sale unless withheld for reasons listed._______________ .

It is highly recommended that annual veterinary check-ups are carried out, and to keep all immunizations current, to provide good housing, secure garden, not to be kept on a chain, and not be allowed to roam freely unsupervised. 

If in the future the buyer finds himself/herself unable to keep the dog, he/she is asked to contact the breeder, who will either take back the puppy/dog or help find a suitable new home

The breeder is willing to give advice to the buyer in any matter concerning the well being of the dog. For the life of the dog.

All puppies carry breeding restrictions which means that any puppies born can not be registered with the Kennel Club and they will not be lifted until all criteria listed below have been met. There are no exceptions so please do not ask             

A. He/She is at least 2 years old

B. Is hip scored and is under the national average.

C. To have a current clear eye and heart certificate.

D. The proposed mate is also eye, heart and hip tested and under the national average.

E. The dog/bitch must be within the breed standard, and have no potential genetic/conformational faults that can be passed on to their offspring

F. It will also be at my discretion and i may refuse to have them lifted, but will give an explanation at the time of request       

G.  If the dog/bitch is sold on without my knowledge i will NOT lift the restrictions under any circumstances               

I do like to keep in touch with my puppies and their owners so if you do move house or change your telephone number please let me know

If the puppy has been sold as potential show quality, or working/trialling prospects is given in good faith, it is a condition of this sale that no warranty can be given as to the ultimate show/working/field trial potential I can not guarantee that said puppy/dog will win in the show ring or field. I do not sell potential brood bitches or stud dogs and will not guarantee that you will have puppies by/out of your dog/bitch

The agreement may be modified or amended only in writing and signed by both parties. Please make sure before signing the contract you have read it and you understand all the contents.
