We pride ourselves on the quality, temperament and working ability of our dogs, and we also believe in genetic testing, on hips (HIP DYSPLASIA) and eyes. When purchasing a puppy it is always advisable to go to a breeder who tests their dogs rather than those who follow the "Ignorance is bliss" route.
All of our puppies will go with insurance, care sheet, puppy packs, CONTRACT, books and leaflets on how to care for your puppy.
They will be docked (unless you request at birth that the tail is left on), wormed up to date and of course KC reg. We will be available throughout your dogs life if you need any support or help. We do ask that if for any reason that you are unable to keep your puppy/dog that you bring him or her back to us to re-home.
Our puppies carry breeding restrictions, they will ONLY be lifted once the puppy has reached 2 years old, be under the national average with his/her hip score and has a clean eye and heart certificate, and to be within the breed standard with no genetic defaults ALSO the dog/bitch that they will be mated to will also be hip, eye and heart tested. They will NOT be lifted until the above criteria has been met, there will be NO exceptions so please do not ask.
Our puppies are wormed every two weeks with Panacur 10% liquid, and should be wormed every two weeks until they reach 12 weeks.
They are/have been fed Purina Proplan complete for puppies, with Pedigree tinned meat again for puppies. They have also been used to beef and tripe
WHEN FEEDING YOUR PUPPY PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO OFF THE GUIDES ON THE BAG OF FOOD, THEY ARE INDIVIDUALS AND AMOUNTS WILL VARY FROM PUPPY TO PUPPY AND IF YOU DO GO OFF THE GUIDES YOU WILL HAVE A VERY SKINNY GSP. WE DO GO THOUGH THIS WHEN YOU COLLECT YOUR PUPPY AND YOU ALSO HAVE IT WRITTEN IN RED ON YOUR CARE SHEET, BUT PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT DOING AS WE SUGGEST AND THEN WONDERING WHY THEIR PUPPY/DOG IS THIN!
We do not sell puppies to full time workers, first time dog owners or for breeding machines
PUPPIES WILL BE VET CHECKED BEFORE THEY LEAVE US. WE CAN ARRANGE FOR THE PUPPIES FIRST VACCINATION AND MICROCHIPPING AT THE NEW OWNERS COST WHICH IS £19.50 FOR THE VACCINATION AND £15 FOR MICROCHIPPING (WHICH IS PROBABLY FAR CHEAPER THAN YOUR OWN VET!) AT THE SAME TIME AS THE VET CHECK.
